Host Hotels for Chryslers in the Canyon IV

We know that many of you are coming in from out-of-town and plan to spend the evening in Amarillo either before or after Chryslers in the Canyon IV.

There are a ton of hotels in the area, we have tried to set up the best possible prices for you by working with a few of the options:

The Amarillo Inn

Rate: $69.00 per night
Location: 6901 I-40 West Amarillo, Texas 79106
Phone: (806) 467-9997
Website: http://www.theamarilloinn.com/
Keyword: Amarillo Area Mopars, Chryslers in the Canyon

The Amarillo Inn was recently remodeled and has some very nice accommodations at reasonable prices.

Fifth Season Inn

Rate: $64.00 per night
Location: 6801 I-40 West
Phone: (806) 358-7881
Website: http://www.fifthseasonamarillo.com/
Keyword: Chryslers in the Canyon

The Fifth Season Inn was our main host hotel last year and their rate of $64 per night is very tough to beat...This price is actually for the remodeled Atrium Room, which you can view on their website.

Both of these hotels are located next to one another and were picked in large part due to their great rates AND PARKING.  As car people you always pay attention to the accommodation of your Mopar, just as much as yourself.

Drury Inn & Suites

Location: 8540 W Interstate 40 Amarillo, TX 79121
Phone: 806-351-1111Website: https://wwwc.druryhotels.com/PropertyMapsAndDirections.aspx?Property=0131

The Drury Inn & Suite is right on the western edge of town and literally across the interstate from Westgate Mall. The trip down to the canyon is simple, just head south on Soncy and then exit south on I-27.  You are close to the UA Theatre and several places to eat: Famous Dave's BBQ, Country Barn, Joe's Crab Shack just to name a few.

Best Western

Location: 2801 4th Avenue Canyon, TX 79015Phone: (806) 655-1818Website: bestwesterncanyon.com

If you want simple, this is your ticket.  The Best Western, our 2009 Host Hotel, is literally 3 blocks from where we meet up to head to the canyon Saturday morning.  If that isn't enough, to get to Palo Duro Canyon from the Best Western you literally drive east.  That is all that is involved...the highway will run right into the giant hole in the ground you wanted to find.  There is a gas station right across from the hotel as well as Buffalo's Southwest Cafe to your west.  If you want to walk, you are just a block or two from the West Texas A&M University Campus.

Most folks tend to prefer Amarillo just because there is a bit more to do, but I feel like between these listings we have most bases covered.  If none of the above is what you are looking for, just let us know and we will help locate the right hotel for you, your family, and of course...your Mopar!
